Colorado Front Range Expansion

Eagle Crest Construction

IdealRev helped Eagle Crest Construction win $1.3M in exterior work and approved-vendor status with Colorado builders like Lennar, D.R. Horton, and Toll Brothers, while building a $42.3M active bid pipeline across framing, roofing, and siding.
Eagle Crest Construction - Colorado Front Range Expansion

Objective

Establish Eagle Crest Construction as a preferred exterior trade partner for production homebuilders, multifamily developers, and general contractors across Colorado’s Front Range, while expanding beyond roofing and siding into framing.

Market Development

Since launching business development efforts across the Front Range, IdealRev has engaged more than 150 targeted homebuilders, multifamily developers, and general contractors whose build programs align with Eagle Crest’s ideal project profile across single-family, build-to-rent (BTR), and multifamily construction.

Rather than chasing one-off bids, Eagle Crest focused on becoming an onboarded, prequalified vendor with builders who build at volume and award exterior scopes on a repeat basis.

Results

  • 150+targeted homebuilders, developers, and general contractors actively engaged
  • $1.3Min awarded work, and counting
  • Active work underway with Brightland Homes, Alliance Builders, Hutton Builders, Schneider Building Company, and Landmark/Livmark
  • Onboarded as an approved vendor or bidding partner with national and regional builders including Lennar, D.R. Horton, Toll Brothers, Shea Homes, Century Communities, Dream Finders, AMH, Brookfield, Evergreen Dev Co, Turner Construction, and DPR
  • Now bidding framing alongside core roofing and siding scopes

Business Development Strategy

Relationship-Driven Approach: Set meetings with the people who control trade selection, including Directors of Purchasing, Preconstruction, and Construction Managers, instead of relying on anonymous online bid lists.

Targeted Builder Selection: Focused on builders who build at volume and award exterior scopes on a repeat basis, where one approved-vendor spot means a steady flow of bids.

Bid Feedback Loop: Followed up with the point of contact after every bid for feedback, helping Eagle Crest’s estimating team dial in pricing and stay in line for second looks.

Current Pipeline

The strategy continues to produce active opportunities across Colorado, including:

• $42.3 million in active bid opportunities across framing, roofing, and siding.
• On track to close $3.6 million in awarded work over the next 12 months.
• Expanding scope and volume with current accounts Brightland Homes, Alliance Builders, Hutton Builders, Schneider Building Company, and Landmark/Livmark.
• A growing base of prequalified builder and GC relationships positioned to turn into repeat exterior awards as their pipelines grow.

Impact

Eagle Crest is now a trusted exterior trade partner with many of Colorado’s leading production homebuilders and general contractors, with active work across Brightland, Alliance, Hutton, Schneider, and Landmark/Livmark, and is bidding framing alongside its core roofing and siding work. Beyond the $1.3 million already awarded, the current pipeline puts another $3.6 million within reach over the next 12 months.
